Chats 0.19.2 — the Beeper login fix — R8 APK (14.4 MB)

Features

- Beeper logins work again: Beeper now requires clients to identify themselves during login, and older builds were rejected with "Your client is out of date"

Bug fixes

- A wrong login code no longer dead-ends the login: the app now shows how many tries are left and the same code request stays valid
- An expired code request now says so and points at requesting a new code, instead of a bare "HTTP 404"
- Submitting an empty code field fails locally with a clear prompt instead of a server error
- Login errors show Beeper's actual message instead of just an HTTP status

Known/outstanding — sync complaints reported alongside the login issue are not addressed by this release; if sync still misbehaves after logging in on 0.19.2, report it on the tracker.
