Improved

• 🔎 Compact search panel. When no speaker is connected, the panel shows a small card ("Looking for JBL speakers…", "Connecting…", or what to do if Bluetooth is off) instead of the last speaker's name, battery and EQ. Nearby JBL speakers appear as buttons to connect.
• Speakers that are switched off disappear from the Nearby list after a few seconds.
• When a speaker disconnects, its details are cleared, so nothing from it shows when a different speaker connects.

Fixed

• The first control in the panel (the Keep Awake cup) showed a focus ring when the panel opened.

Install

Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later (Apple Silicon or Intel).

1. Download JBLControl-0.6.1.dmg below.
2. Open it and drag JBLControl onto Applications (choose Replace if you're updating).
3. First launch: if macOS blocks it, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, or run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/JBLControl.app.
