Verify and install

From the directory containing the downloaded archive and SHA256SUMS, verify the matching archive before extracting it:

# Linux
sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS --ignore-missing

# macOS: compare the output with the matching entry in SHA256SUMS
shasum -a 256 gpuworks-v26.11.1-darwin-arm64.tar.gz

For a new installation (Linux x86_64 example):

tar -xzf gpuworks-v26.11.1-linux-amd64.tar.gz
cd gpuworks-v26.11.1-linux-amd64
./gpuworks install
