• A WSelect is named by its selection, and by its placeholder only while it is empty. The closed trigger's accessible name was the placeholder whenever one was set, and the default is the English "Select an option", so a select showing "Apple" was announced as "Select an option" and, in a Turkish app, in the wrong language. The name now follows the trigger's visible text: the selected option's label, the labels joined with ', ' for a multi select, and the placeholder (none when it is empty) when nothing is selected, as Flutter's DropdownButton names itself by its visible child. Visible to dusk and tests: a script that found a selected select by its placeholder text now finds it by the selected label.
