Bug Fixes

  • serialization: keep decoded transport data off retained envelopes (2b48375)

    Serialize standard JSON and CBOR through a temporary envelope view so stored messages do not retain decoded payload and metadata graphs. Preserve binary encoding and explicit custom serializer or object identity semantics.

  • test-server: estimate read batches without decoding retained messages (1f0effa)

    Use encoded envelope sizes and saturating estimates to avoid retaining decoded payload and metadata graphs during response batching. Keep oversized estimates from overflowing the batch splitter.
