GitNut 0.1.3

Choose a tag to compare

@flyingart flyingart released this 06 Nov 16:43
e080894

Improved

  • Adding a server that needs its access token now says so (and the server list shows "needs its access token" instead of a grey dot)
  • Settings show the same version for the client, the daemon and the desktop app

Fixed

  • Builds could mix versions between the web client, daemon and desktop app

GitNut 0.1.2

Choose a tag to compare

@flyingart flyingart released this 06 Nov 16:13
1697e76

New

  • The desktop app now updates itself: it checks every 10 minutes and asks "Install and restart" (install this version once from the .dmg / installer; later versions arrive on their own)
  • Settings show the client and desktop app versions at the bottom
  • Privacy policy and terms on gitnut.dev

Fixed

  • The diff viewer crashed on files without a final newline when lines were added at the end

GitNut 0.1.1

Choose a tag to compare

@flyingart flyingart released this 06 Nov 15:01
b102880

New

  • Installation help for the unsigned builds on gitnut.dev (macOS, Windows, Linux)

Improved

  • The update button next to the logo is now plain white
  • Better link previews and search results for gitnut.dev (og:image, sitemap)

Fixed

  • macOS app: adding a server on another machine failed with "Load failed" (install this version once from the .dmg; the in-app update covers the daemon and web client)

First public release of GitNut: one window to watch what your AI coding agents do across all your machines, repositories and worktrees.

New

  • IntelliJ-style commit graph with every branch, remote and tag, fast with 50k+ commits
  • Select several commits to read their combined change, file by file
  • IntelliJ-style diff viewer: side by side or unified, word highlights, connector bands, image diffs
  • Live uncommitted changes of every worktree, plus one combined view across repos and machines
  • One small daemon per machine, one client for all of them: web panel, desktop app or React components
  • Git actions: fetch, pull, push, commit, checkout, branches, tags, cherry-pick, revert, reset, merge, rebase, stash
  • Agent checkpoint commits (Jean, T3 Code) hidden by default
  • Themes and accents, optional tabs, server list, self-update from the CLI or the client

Install: curl -fsSL https://gitnut.dev/install.sh | sh (Linux, macOS) or irm https://gitnut.dev/install.ps1 | iex (Windows), or grab a desktop app below.
