Font size #774

QLog does not provide a font size setting for the GUI, only for the DX Cluster Console. Otherwise, QLog uses the system font size. Sometimes it is necessary to restart the application for the changes to take effect. I’m not sure how it works under KDE, but under GNOME it’s usually better to adjust the global scaling instead of changing the font size directly, in order to make enough space for the requested font size. |

It also seems like there are 2 environment variables you could play with to change the relative font size for the application QT_SCALE_FACTOR and QT_FONT_DPI |

Thanks guys for suggestions! The plasma screen scaling won't go below 100%, so that was not an option. I changed QT_FONT_DPI environment variable to 75 and that did the trick. It would be nice to have something in qlog that would allow to change this. I suspect that there is a good number of people out there who don't know how to set environment variables... |

In four years, you’re probably only the second person to bring this up. I think one person solved it using the display scaling setting in the operating system. Providing this option to users would lead to the following:
I probably don’t need to continue. QLog uses the system settings. QLog cannot adopt every possible configuration available in the operating system. It’s not that implementing it would be unrealistic, but it would cause the settings to become overloaded with too many options. The goal of QLog is to provide the best possible defaults for all the “non-essential” parameters. If a user has specific requirements, they should handle them individually through their own system settings. |

Hi,
I am trying to change the font size in qlog. I tried to global plasma desktop settings but they don't see to change anything. Also, I could not find anything related to fonts in the program itself. Is there a way to do this?
