Upgrade notes

  • Minimum compatible peer version is now 0.2.122 (#5832). Nodes running 0.2.121 or older are refused. Most of them update themselves automatically. 0.2.120 and 0.2.121 cannot detect updates (#5221), so they update only once they lose all their connections. If you run one of those versions, run freenet update now.
  • Updates are now downloaded before the node restarts (#5791). This fixes updates that failed part-way on slow links. Only nodes already running this release get the fix, so a slow-link node on 0.2.141 or older may still need one manual freenet update.
