On OpenCode V2, an unsolicited websearch call could open a provider-configuration prompt and waste a turn; without a configured provider, upstream defaults could also send queries to a third party. The Action now denies websearch while continuing to allow webfetch, and its permission gate rejects later rules that re-allow the tool.
V2 tool calls now show useful, sanitized arguments in the transcript, including commands, paths, grep patterns and web URLs with credentials and query details removed. Displayed values are capped at 200 characters, and prompts, file contents and edit bodies stay hidden; Code Mode execute calls now produce a line for the call and each nested call. #2038
