Export a filtered Streamlit dataset to a designed PDF with the new sales-report starter.
Download the complete app ? Open the sample PDF ? Source
The app accepts a small CSV, filters dates, regions and channels, then prepares a PDF with a summary page and a paginated ledger. Edit
report.htmlandreport.cssto change the print design. Fullbleed renders on the Python server; Streamlit's PDF viewer displays the same bytes as the download.A prepared report belongs to its browser session. Committed input changes clear it, and the download shows the selection it describes. Invalid data, empty selections and missing font coverage cannot leave an old download available.
The ZIP includes fictional data, explicit fonts and their licenses, and pinned requirements. Use Python 3.11 and follow its README to run it locally. The sample has 36 records and two A4 pages; the 250-record check produces ten pages. Windows and Linux each passed 746 checks against the extracted ZIP, with six PDF fixtures identical across both platforms.
This is a local example. A hosted deployment would need your application's access, capacity and retention controls before handling private records.
If you try it, which part of your reporting workflow needs more customization: page design, charts, or connecting a data source? Share a small synthetic example here; keep private customer records out of the discussion.
