Fullbleed 2.5.28: corrected inset shadows and clean edges
Inset box shadows now preserve negative spread, large offsets and translated rounded corners. Table cells use the same corrected geometry. Zero-blur shadows remain vector; unshadowed edges stay clear. Native previews retain contributing off-page pixels and apply clipping after blur.
Install with python -m pip install fullbleed==2.5.28 or use fullbleed = "=2.5.28" in Cargo. The 15 Python platform wheels, source distribution and default-feature Rust crate are publicly available and independently verified. Runtime dependencies are unchanged.
The static Bootstrap component alpha is a separate opt-in Python release, with cards, forms, data tables and styled or unstyled HTML export. This patch does not change its API or the Node/.NET engine pins.
The final wheel passes 659 Python tests. The unchanged native feature source passes 1,378 native tests and 11 doctests. Installed-output checks cover 27 shadow scenarios and 16 complete unshadowed-region comparisons at 300 DPI. All 59 retained PDFs, native/finalized preview bytes and complete PDFium pixels match across the qualified build, Linux release build and fresh public Windows wheel. The default-feature crates.io consumer independently checks 54 direct/compiled PDFs, repeated renders, previews and eight native/finalized clear regions at 300 DPI.
The source's complete 1,662-case CSS corpus remains failed: 1,620 PASS, 24 FAIL, 18 REFERENCE-DISPUTED. The clipping case's changed classification and the rounded-blur difference from Chrome print remain documented. No reference or threshold was changed. These are scoped regression checks, not complete CSS or PDF standards conformance. The dedicated PDF/VT validator remains unconfigured and skipped.
