Fullbleed 2.5.41: authored preformatted wrapping
Code blocks now honor authored CSS whitespace and wrapping. A pre block styled with white-space: pre-wrap and overflow-wrap: anywhere can wrap long lines within the page instead of extending past its edge. Default pre and explicit no-wrap policies retain their behavior. Documents requesting wrapping may gain pages.
Install Python with python -m pip install fullbleed==2.5.41 or pin Rust with fullbleed = "=2.5.41".
The published 2.5.40 wheel reproduces 24 failing cases and seven passing controls. This release passes all 31 cases across direct, compiled and reflow rendering, including complete single-copy text, visible glyph bounds, indentation, newlines and deterministic PDF bytes. Qualification also passed 800 Python tests, 1,412 native tests and 11 documentation tests.
All 16 public Python distributions match the tagged workflow artifacts. A fresh Python installation reproduces all 31 candidate PDFs. Windows and Linux source CI, plus the tagged release fixtures, match those PDF bytes and all 94 independently rasterized pages. Four synthetic documents rendered by a fresh public Rust consumer match the reviewed candidate text, glyph geometry and all eight PDFium pages; missing-glyph and oversized-input controls also pass.
The unchanged 1,662-case CSS corpus reports 1,624 PASS, 20 FAIL and 18 REFERENCE-DISPUTED. 1,662 fixture verdicts and raster hashes remain unchanged, with no worsened case. The original all-pass gate remains failed; its reports and disputed references are preserved in the evidence archive.
No public API or runtime dependency is added. Component authoring remains alpha. These fixtures do not establish general CSS parity, accessibility, performance or standards conformance; dedicated PDF/VT validation remains unavailable. The Markdown document evaluation is synthetic and does not claim an upstream application integration or adoption.
