Upright synthesized-bold headings now produce one searchable copy of their text. Previously, PDF readers could return duplicate or interleaved characters even when the heading looked correct. This patch separates glyph paint from logical text and preserves the finalized preview of those glyphs.

python -m pip install --upgrade fullbleed

For Rust, use fullbleed = "2.5.6".

Validation covers 36 styled documents across ordinary, tagged, and PDF/UA authoring profiles, read with pypdf, PyMuPDF, pdfminer.six, and PDFium. Local tests include 1,306 default Rust tests, 1,307 Rust tests with Python/SVG features, and 497 Python tests. The release builds 15 platform wheels and runs 19 installed-wheel checks. Release records include a fresh public PyPI installation, the published crate's source comparison, original HTML/CSS, PDFs, previews, independent-reader results, and artifact hashes.

The retained fixtures include italic, Unicode, opacity, shadows, rotation, scaling, and shear. PDF bytes can change for affected documents. The three direct-preview goldens remain unchanged; the Acme invoice's PDF golden changes because duplicate text objects were removed.

These checks establish behavior for the retained fixtures. They do not establish universal renderer parity, screen-reader acceptance, or independent PDF/VT conformance. The dedicated PDF/VT validator remains unconfigured. Fullbleed remains MIT licensed with no Python runtime dependencies.
