Debug build: debuggable and unminified - the variant the tests run against. No minified release build is published or built in CI: an unsigned release APK cannot be installed, and ./gradlew :app:assembleRelease stays a local step.
Signed with the sideload key checked into keystore/ on purpose, so this installs straight over an earlier install and keeps the pinned host keys and saved connections. That key is public by design and attests nothing about who built the APK - take it only from this repository's releases.
Copy it to the device and open it (allow installs from unknown sources), or adb install -r. Advanced dictation needs a Pixel with a locked bootloader; every other device falls back to its own recognizer automatically.
