MTG farm volunteer client v31

Superseded by client-v32 (2026-10-17): the Necromancer, a fifth work mode, and the page in the site's own type. Let the client update itself to v32, or download client-v32. This v31 asset stays downloadable, and its digest below holds for it.

One-zip Windows volunteer client for the MTG sim farm. Unzip, double-click run-client.bat, enter the farm URL and your runner credential on the first-run page, click Add, pick your work, and go.

New in v31: the page redesign. The work modes in two groups, Backfill and Evolve, and the page in Boilerworks' look. No engine change.

From v30: engine 2.0.15+499e03087c5. From v29: Play my walk steps. From v28: a tuned engine JVM. From v27: one engine process per machine, and the harness inside the engine jar. From v12: the client updates itself.

Ships Windows embeddable Python 3.12.10; the Forge engine (~200 MB) is downloaded on demand. Needs a farm whose /hello advertises the active_engine 2.0.15+499e03087c5 (accepted 2026-10-16); Play my walk steps also needs step_widening in its features (farm schema v12).
