tPortal 0.12.1
tPortal 0.12.1
- The Mac app is now signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens with a normal double-click: no more right-click › Open or "unidentified developer" warning.
- After this update your Mac may ask once for your login password so tPortal can read its saved sign-ins from the keychain. Choose Always Allow; later updates will not ask again.

- WileyPLUS. Settings has a WileyPLUS card next to Quercus: paste an access token from learn.wileyplus.com (Account › Settings › Approved Integrations › New Access Token) and the app finds your WileyPLUS courses. WileyPLUS is a Canvas site like Quercus, so the same token page and the same sync apply.
- WileyPLUS homework joins Deadlines, the Calendar, the Class page and the phone, with due dates, points and submitted state, marked "WileyPLUS". Files posted on WileyPLUS (weekly learning goals and the like) are filed with the course's other materials.
- The e-textbook. The Class page gets a "Textbook on WileyPLUS" card: this week's sections, the full list by week, and Open the textbook. Sections open in tPortal's own reader window; sign in to WileyPLUS there once and it stays signed in.
- Course outlines now read themselves. After a sync, any course without a weekly plan gets its outline read (once a day until it works), so midterms, exams, what each is worth and weekly readings appear on every install, not only where someone found the button in Settings. The Settings card now shows on every install and says when Claude still needs connecting.
- The token bar warns about an expiring or rejected WileyPLUS token the same way it does for Quercus.
- Courses that open WileyPLUS from a tab inside Quercus (RSM100, for one) need no WileyPLUS token: the Class page's Open WileyPLUS launches it with your Quercus token, and after one sign-in tPortal reads the course's own chapter layout from WileyPLUS: readings, video lectures, slides, podcasts and practice quizzes, grouped by chapter, with this week's chapters picked out from the outline. Tick what you have done; Continue takes you back to the last thing you opened.
- WileyPLUS is one of the default places on the Links page.
- Settings › Quercus › Missing a course? lists the Quercus rows that are not named by their code ("Math 135 Fall 2026 All Lecture Sections") so they can be added with the right code and kept across syncs.
- A small card in the bottom corner, now and then, for something worth setting up: Quercus, courses, the ACORN timetable, WileyPLUS for a course that uses it, or Claude. One at a time, at most once a day each, Not now puts it away, and the button lands on the right field in Settings.
- Phone app: the file viewer gets a Save button that makes a copy of the PDF with your handwritten notes written into it as real annotations, sent to the share sheet (Save to Files on an iPhone or iPad) or downloaded.

- Fixes 0.11.2: the sidebar buttons (Calendar, Class, Links, Settings) did nothing when clicked.
- Fixes 0.11.2: the sidebar stayed on "Syncing…" (or "Converting slides…") after an automatic sync, and Sync now would not start.

- Sync now also sends your account the current picture, so the phone app fills in right after you press it.
- The account menu says why a sync failed instead of just "Sync failed".
- Sync progress in the sidebar, offline awareness, and smaller downloads.

tPortal 0.9.12
tPortal 0.9.12 (beta)
- Nothing glows any more: course tags, status lights, the new-material dot and the calendar's now-line are solid
- No other changes since 0.9.11
What changed since 0.9.11
- The soft halo is gone from the course tags on deadline rows and panel lists, the sync status lights, the "new" dot on material rows, and the current-time line on the calendar. Solid ink on the ground, matching the sidebar course list from 0.9.11.
tPortal 0.9.11
tPortal 0.9.11 (beta)
- Update now: one button installs an update from the toast, the Account page or the side panel, as soon as it has downloaded
- The course list in the sidebar is quieter: no glow, and new material shows as a count
What changed since 0.9.10
- Checking for updates used to download in the background and install only when you closed the window. Now the toast after a check, the Account row and the side-panel notice all carry Update now. Press it and the app installs at once if the download is done, or the moment it finishes; the Account row shows the download progress.
- Sidebar courses: the colour dots are solid, the codes are set like the tabs above them, and "new material in the last 48 hours" is a small number at the end of the row instead of a glowing dot.
- The brand row at the top of the sidebar was already quieter in 0.9.10; this release keeps it.
