Mirror a GitHub repository's Markdown documentation as hierarchical pages on your WordPress site, kept in sync automatically.

  • Directories become parent pages, .md files become child pages, a directory's README.md becomes that directory page's content
  • Rendered with GitHub's own Markdown API (tables, task lists, alerts)
  • SHA-based change detection: steady-state syncs cost almost nothing
  • Scheduled (hourly to daily) and manual sync; budgeted runs resume cleanly
  • Relative links rewritten to local permalinks; images served from GitHub
  • Deletions mirrored (trash); breadcrumbs and child listings; root-page badge
  • Optional GitHub token for higher rate limits and private repositories

Install: upload gatherpress-docs-0.1.0.zip via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
