A value written twice is masked both times

Omna reads context, so it could recognise a name in one place ("Contact: Jane Doe") and miss it in another ("Signed, Jane Doe"). The second copy then went out unmasked. Now, once Omna finds a value, it masks every copy of it in the same message.

Perplexity file uploads are masked

Perplexity stores attached files on its own Amazon storage, which Omna did not open, so the file went as it was. Now only the file is masked; Amazon's upload signature is left exactly as signed.

Every way in

Tested live on 2026-10-25 with fake data: files added with the + button or by drag and drop, and long pastes that a site turns into a file (claude.ai, DeepSeek), all reach the AI masked.

Engine omna-pii-mask 0.2.10. The Homebrew build is signed and notarized by Apple.
