ZoteroQuickLookMac v1.0.11

PDF previews now use a native macOS PDFKit window with selectable text and ⌘C, plus Zotero highlights and other saved PDF annotations. Preview copies are temporary; original attachments and library annotations remain unchanged.

• Fits normal first pages completely within the available screen area.
• Opens very tall pages at the top with a readable width and capped window height.
• Matches spacing between pages to the side margins.
• Supports Space, Escape, and ⌘Y to close previews, with improved cancellation and temporary-file cleanup.
• Retrieves synced attachments that have not been downloaded.
• Retains Quick Look for EPUBs, notes, images, and other attachment types.

Requires macOS 12 or later, on Apple Silicon or Intel, and Zotero 7–10. Selectable text requires a PDF text layer and permission to copy.

Download zoteroquicklookmac.xpi below and install it through Tools → Plugins → Install Add-on From File. The existing plugin ID is preserved, so this updates installations in place.

Validation: 18 JavaScript tests; native PDFKit selection/copy, highlight, layout, and lifecycle checks; universal binary and XPI integrity checks. Annotation export was also verified in an isolated Zotero 10.0.4 profile during development.

ZoteroQuickLookMac v1.0.10

Zotero7QuickLook is now ZoteroQuickLookMac, including the GitHub repository and plugin name displayed in Zotero.

• Updated project links and build instructions for the new name.
• Renamed the installable package to zoteroquicklookmac.xpi.
• Preserved the plugin ID, so this release updates an existing installation in place.
• Added the plugin update feed with a checksum for the release package.
• Retained support for Zotero 7–10 and the existing PDF, EPUB, note, and contact sheet previews.

• EPUB attachments are now previewable with Space. Since macOS QuickLook doesn't render EPUBs natively, the plugin unzips the book on the fly, walks the OPF spine, and concatenates the chapters into a single styled HTML page.
• Typography: Palatino base font, 80 px page margin, 720 px book-width column. The book's own stylesheets are loaded so its original layout is preserved.
• Parent-item preview now prefers PDF, then EPUB, then any other attachment.
