micro: .wfr, the wireframe format
micro now reads, converts, exports and stores .wfr — the brick-aligned Parquet mesh container (spec, converter and inspector at https://gentropic.org/wireframe/).
- Open .wfr natively. Every element becomes a layer (a group when there are several): meshes up to 2M triangles load re-welded to the original vertices, with vertex attributes in the attribute table and a checked topology carried along; larger ones stream brick by brick. Line elements become categorized strings layers, point elements points layers.
- File → Convert to .wfr… turns PLY, OBJ, DXF, .msh, .lfm, Datamine pt/tr pairs or other .wfr files into one .wfr without loading them — streamed, in bounded memory (spills to browser storage past a budget), written straight to disk where the browser allows.
- Export as .wfr keeps vertex attributes that the other mesh exports drop; strings and points export as their own element kinds.
- Projects store meshes as .wfr on save (asked once, remembered; Tools → Settings): one file per source in
meshes/, layers re-open in place, source files kept. - Vertex colours now render — for .wfr and for PLY red/green/blue.
Faster DXF
- The streaming DXF parser is about 2× faster on full-precision files (16–17 significant digits): the exact number fast path now covers any mantissa below 2⁵³, and a string cache stops thrashing on alternating subclass markers. Same answers — fuzzed against parseFloat, and a multi-GB conversion is byte-identical before and after.
