We could release now with what has already been merged, but #787 is slated for 3.12, do we want to deal with it now? After a short discussion, it was determined that releasing now, with the measure tool improvements is worth it. We will wait on #787, until duck can turn a bit more attention to it.
Jim will proceed with a release of a 3.12, and we will monitor Zenodo to confirm the DOI is automagically generated...
BrentFraser pointed us to https://docs.geomoose.org/3.x/protocols.html as the shiny new page on protocols. Some discussion ensued about the width of a protocols table, since we may need a new column to track legend support. tchaddad offered to take on a transition to a new Sphinx template to see if we can take advantage of a better layout for more dense info display.
