IniMod 1.0 now offers optional system packages alongside portable archives.

  • Linux tar.gz: amd64, i386, arm64 and armhf; Windows ZIP: x86 and x64.
  • DEB packages: the same four Linux architectures, built and installed/tested on Debian Bookworm.
  • MSI packages: Windows x86 and x64; CI verifies installation, repair, actual INI editing and uninstall.
  • Portable Linux runtime tests cover Debian 11/12/13 and Ubuntu 24.04/26.04.
  • The Mystic installer continues to use the pinned ZIP/tar.gz artifacts. This release does not change a live BBS.
  • SHA256SUMS covers the binary downloads and corresponding source archive.

Source: tag v1.0-packages.1. Upstream notices and the pinned JPLib snapshot remain included in the source and package notices.

@geosone geosone released this 31 Oct 14:32

Portable IniMod 1.0 builds from GitHub Actions, source commit b31f561.

Each binary archive contains exactly the executable (inimod / inimod.exe) and README.txt. No MSI, DEB, installation, service or PATH update.

  • Linux: amd64, i386, arm64, armhf. The same Bullseye-built files passed real CLI tests on Debian 11/12/13 and Ubuntu 24.04/26.04. i386 runs with the distribution's 32-bit libc on an amd64 kernel in CI.
  • Windows: x86 and x64, including UTF-8 and executable paths containing spaces.
  • Original command/option names retained. Fixes include absolute Linux filenames and quoted Windows executable paths.
  • Unsigned downloads. SHA256SUMS, exact source and workflow build report are attached.
  • Upstream and third-party notices are preserved. These are independently downloadable general tools; Mystic is not required.
