A headless mode that exposes only MCP tools, and a fix for the official MCP
server after an account change. No protocol change, so an editor sees a
1.7.7-shaped agent.

Added

  • sigit run -p ... --mcp-tools-only runs headless with MCP tools only. The
    built-in tools are not offered to the model, so a script or sandbox runner
    can limit a run to the tools its MCP servers provide.

Fixed

  • The official MCP server reconnects when the signed-in account changes.
    Before, a session kept the connection opened under the previous account until
    siGit Code restarted.

Changed

  • Linux release binaries are built against glibc 2.17 on ubuntu-24.04, so they
    run on older distributions.
  • The npm, PyPI and NuGet wrappers moved under packaging/.
  • The winget job reuses an open Package Request and fails on an unexpected
    status instead of filing another.
  • The Actions, Code Assurance and QA runner images are built and published from
    this repository.
