  • Found your devices? Setup now makes the last step clear, and pressing back on the device list asks before throwing them away.

  • Stuck in setup? Ask your AI. A new card writes up what ZigDash found for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any AI app, without passwords or addresses. You see the text before it's shared.
  • Remote control catches up as soon as your home's internet is back (ZigDash Engine 3.1.5).

Includes everything in 3.1.4. APKs below are the FOSS build (no analytics, no Pro). Check them against SHA256SUMS.

Setup tells you what's wrong, and always has a way out:

  • Home Assistant sign-in checks your address first, and says if nothing answers (or the certificate isn't trusted) instead of opening the browser on an error page.
  • Not sure of your Home Assistant address? Setup tells you where to find it.
  • Cancel on every "Checking…" screen.
  • Back in the middle of setup starts it over instead of closing the app.

  • Home Assistant setup: if homeassistant.local can't be found, setup now points you to Home Assistant sign-in, which works with the address you open Home Assistant with in your browser.
  • ZHA: setup asks whether you use ZHA, Home Assistant's own Zigbee, and says plainly that ZigDash can't see ZHA devices.

APKs below are the FOSS build (no analytics, no Pro). Check them against SHA256SUMS.

  • Setup with Home Assistant: if Zigbee2MQTT runs in Home Assistant, setup now offers Home Assistant sign-in right away, with no broker address or MQTT login.
  • History one tap away: sensor tiles have a history button in the corner, and reading tiles show a graph icon.

APKs below are the FOSS build (no analytics, no Pro). Check them against SHA256SUMS.

Automations now have their own tab at the bottom of the screen, next to Dashboards, Devices and Scenes. They used to sit three levels down in Settings.

ZigDash 3.1: Automations and remote control.

Automations: when a door opens, motion is seen, a button is pressed or a time comes (sunrise and sunset too), ZigDash switches lights, plugs and shutters or runs a scene, and can turn them off again. ZigDash Engine runs it all inside Zigbee2MQTT on your hub, installed in one tap, so it works with your phone off and the internet down. Alerts and history no longer need Node-RED.

Remote control (Google Play version, with Pro): reach your home from anywhere through ZigDash's relay. Your hub and your phones encrypt everything end to end, so the relay can't read your devices or what they do. Add the household's phones with a QR code, and keep a passphrase-protected key backup. This GitHub build doesn't include remote control for now.

Also in this release (2.10.4, which never reached Google Play): when Zigbee2MQTT reaches its broker by a name your phone can't use (a Docker service, a hostname), setup says so and asks for the broker machine's address with the right port; Test & connect no longer tells you to open Mosquitto on a machine whose Zigbee2MQTT uses a broker elsewhere; a Zigbee2MQTT page protected by a token is named as such.
