Three display defects seen while testing 1.3.0, and the lines built like them — what you tap now answers, and TalkBack says what it is.

Fixed

  • Week view: the "+2" under a day did nothing. A tap on it now unfolds the day's all-day events, as does the arrow in the hours' column, which folds them back. Unfolded, a crowded day scrolls within part of the screen, so the hours stay in view.
  • Month in dots: a public holiday with no event floated halfway down the screen, far from its date. It now sits right under the date, with "No events on this day" below it.
  • A tap on the label did nothing for "All day" in the editor, for the automatic backup and for "Never / After / On" at the end of a series — only the switch or the button answered. The whole line now acts.
  • On a small screen, the default event colour could not be grey or lavender: the settings' row of colours did not scroll, and its last two swatches fell off the screen.
  • TalkBack read each setting twice; it now reads one switch, with its label and its state. The colour swatches and the calendars' switches had no name; each now says what it is.

Checked before publishing

624 unit tests · lint and detekt (CI gate) · 58 instrumented tests on an Android 14 emulator and the CI's on Android 10, 14 of them new · 15 negative controls, each fix broken in turn and caught by its test · two source tests that keep a screen from drawing its own switch line or colour swatches again · a three-axis pre-release audit — no critical or high finding, the one medium fixed before release (report in audits_results) · every fix seen on a Galaxy S9 (Android 10), on screen and in the accessibility tree · update from the published 1.3.1 on the S9 with this very universal APK: events, holidays country and settings kept · same permissions as 1.3.1, no network permission · signing certificate unchanged.
