Tiditalk 1.8.6

Aggiornamento

Basta docker compose up -d --build.

Tiditalk 1.8.6 (English)

3D face effects that recover by themselves when the browser briefly refuses 3D
graphics.

Fixed

  • "3D effects are not available in this browser" until reloading the page:
Chrome can refuse 3D graphics (WebGL 2) for a moment, for example on older
MacBooks when the graphics card is busy or Chrome's graphics process restarts.
Tiditalk checked only once and kept that "no" until the page was reloaded.
Now the "no" lasts a few seconds: the Effects panel says it will try again,
retries by itself (and with Try again now) and fills the 3D tab as soon as
    the graphics are back
  • A 3D effect that fails to start is tried again once by itself after a
moment, and the 3D engine is created a second time if the browser refuses it
the first time; a half-created engine is closed so it does not keep the
    graphics busy
  • 3D graphics lost while an effect is on (graphics card restarted): the
    effect is rebuilt by itself

Added

  • Diagnostics in the server log: a [CONN] … fx3d line with the reason and
the graphics card name when the browser refuses 3D graphics, an effect fails,
or the graphics come back or get lost (docker logs tdt-app | grep fx3d)

Upgrade

Just docker compose up -d --build.
