Spec Editor Community 1.0.4

Choose a tag to compare

@2re1979 2re1979 released this 09 Oct 15:29
  • The header of exported PDFs now shows the project's client (bygherre) and contract (entreprise), and placeholders such as "[Bygherre]" no longer appear. All text in the PDF is in Danish, also when the app runs in English.
  • You can set your company name in Settings. It appears in the PDF footer and on the cover.
  • The cover shows the work area's code in front of its title and the document type above it, for example "Fælles beskrivelse". The type is also shown at the top of the editor.
  • The date for the Molio reference list can now also be set on an individual work description or building element description, and the app can write it into the section "Gældende dato for referencer".
  • Combined PDFs for a whole project work again, and if an export fails you are told instead of the error disappearing. The same goes for Word, and an empty control plan now gives a file.
  • Each new project gets its own ID and creation date. Before, all new projects shared one.
  • The Danish wording is consistent: "arbejdsbeskrivelse" for the document you edit, "arbejdsområde" for Molio's level.
  • The project overview follows the width of the window, and dates in it are shown in Danish time.
  • The contracts list is in the same order as the tree, and empty contracts no longer take up space in the import window.
  • Security updates to the components the app is built on.

Spec Editor Community 1.0.2

Choose a tag to compare

@2re1979 2re1979 released this 17 Sep 13:05

The first downloadable build of the Community edition. The source has been
public since 1.0.1; this is the first time you can install the app without
building it yourself.

Downloads

  • macOS (Apple silicon): spec-editor-community-1.0.2-arm64.dmg
  • Windows (64-bit): spec-editor-community-1.0.2-x64.exe

The macOS build is signed and notarized, so it opens normally without the
right-click detour. The Windows installer is not signed, so SmartScreen
warns once - choose "More info", then "Run anyway".

From this release on, the app updates itself from this repository.

What this edition does not include

Six features of bskriver are not part of this repository. Three show content
owned by Molio and need a Molio licence: reference content (Basis,
Vejledning, Referenceliste, Paradigme), Molio's standard control plan, and
Browse Molio when importing. Three are our own work kept out of the open
source: the custom cover template tool, Compare versions, and the AI
integration (MCP server). The automatic cover page is included.

Everything else is the same code as bskriver: opening, editing and saving
.moliospec files, work areas, control plans, contracts, attachments,
RELOAD-Merge, PDF and DOCX export, Reader mode, PFBB, Danish and English.
