What changed
Added
- The update window lists what changed in every version since yours, with a progress bar and a
Cancel button. - Tooling covers an agent's other folders (
CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR,CODEX_HOME): Add Folder… installs
the hooks there, and those sessions show up
(how it looks). - A click on a Codex session running in a terminal brings its tab forward, as it does for Claude.
Changed
- Tooling is a page in Settings instead of a separate window; Connect Agent → in the empty widget
opens it. - Check for updates automatically replaces Check for updates on launch: it checks at launch and
once a day.
Fixed
- The full-screen dot shows over a full-screen terminal with tabs, such as Ghostty.
- Text the widget showed before no longer shows faintly through its background.
Install
- Download
AgentWatch-0.4.0.dmg, open it and drag Agent Watch to the
Applications folder beside it. - Remove the quarantine flag macOS puts on anything downloaded:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/AgentWatch.appThe second step is needed because this build is signed ad-hoc rather than with an
Apple Developer ID certificate, so macOS cannot check who made it. Without the step
it refuses to open the app.
SHA-256, in the format shasum -a 256 -c reads:
9436837d305571e94bf0b5b7b7c681cb91f2720bf2322c9199835abe37598538 AgentWatch-0.4.0.dmg
7ade46dfa7c78b5bd477e5b77e4f688954b62c628e2cbb0f25f4022221e5f4a8 AgentWatch-0.4.0.zip
The .zip holds the same app, and appcast.xml tells installed copies about it: an
installed Agent Watch offers this version itself and lists what changed.
Then open Settings → Tooling and install the hooks for whichever agents you use.
Nothing is written to any agent's configuration until you press install there.
JetBrains IDE plugin
The agent-watch-ide-*.zip attached here, when one is, is optional: it makes a
click on a row land on the terminal tab a session runs in rather than on the IDE window.
Install it inside the IDE — Settings → Plugins → the gear → Install Plugin from Disk.
The Tooling page in Settings lists every JetBrains IDE it finds and opens that page for
the one you pick, with the file's path already copied.
