If the problem still exists, please provide detailed reproducible steps (do a new&clear instance setup and reproduce), then people could debug it.

Thank you, after I follow the document operation, is the same as before, is normal, I have verified, create a new user, can be normal push tags. The feeling is that the administrator account has appeared

I think I encounterd the same issue as the OP, but at least at the moment, also do not know how to reproduce, as it is sporadic (have repo with ~150 tags, pushed three new tags today without any changes in repo config, second one is missing in Gitea tag list, others are just fine)...

However, I can add that, at least in my case:

• issue is limited to just WebUI, specifically only the tag list tab with its contents and the branch/tag selector
• funtionally in git the compromised tag exists, and can be normally fetched and cloned by clients
• tag also correctly gets copied to push mirror repos
• commit graph in WebUI does show the tag and it is even possible to click and switch to code page of the tag (which kind of repairs the branch/tag selector until you navigate away, but tag tab keeps showing wrong tag count permanently)

I just migrated a repository with about 70 tags from Subversion to GIT. I can confirm that the tags show up in the commit graph, but not in the tag list. This repository has no branches in Subversion.

I also have another repository with all 3 areas (tags, branches, trunk) that was also migrated. Here all tags are counted and displayed correctly.

There is a workaround to fix that.
./gitea admin repo-sync-releases
But we still need to get to know what happened.
