Login with google is not working in incognito mode . Getting "idpiframe_initialization_failed', details: 'Cookies are not enabled in current environment." error . Any solution for this ?
Using react-google-login & OAuth2Client lib .

Hi, have you checked your browser settings Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Cookies and other site data, and check Allow all cookies?

If it's set to Block third-party cookies in Incognito, oauth2 may fail.

Yeah..... after allowing cookies it's working fine but I want the fuctionality without allowing cookies ..... any solution for that ?

Unfortunately, Google needs to use cookies when it authenticates the user, and the cookies are considered third-party cookies to your domain. The official documentation https://developers.google.com/identity/gsi/web/guides/migration#cookies has more info on this.

does anyone know if the new signin with Google API also suffers the same cookie issue? As it indicated that it does not use G_ENABLED_IDPS anymore, so was hoping it won't matter if the 3rd party cookies got turned off...

@akhna10x There will be no fix... This is an (old) known issue that google doesn't really intends to fix and/or address as can be attested by the fact that the just released Google Identity has the exact same issue https://developers.google.com/identity/sign-in/web/troubleshooting#known_issues

@connectdotz The new Identity Services does in fact work. We were running into this same issue with some of our users over at instantdomains.com (both incognito windows and with 3rd party cookies disabled) and wound up migrating to the new system. Their docs are a little tough to follow but it does resolve this issue. Feel free to head over there to see for yourself. And feel free to reach out if you have questions
