AlphOne 0.31.0

The sidebar follows the WordPress Site Editor, and WhatsApp media no longer stay in the browser cache.

What's new

• The sidebar gains icons and sub menus, and WhatsApp lists each conversation in one.
• A failed resend, revoke, disable, enable or rename shows as a toast.

Fixed

• A signed-out person can no longer reopen WhatsApp media from the browser cache. Clear it on shared computers.

Before you update

• Take a backup first. Two migrations run. To go back to 0.30.0, see Rolling back.
• The first start takes about 30 seconds more for each million contact addresses.
• Set ALPHONE_ENCRYPTION_KEY from openssl rand -hex 32 and back it up, see Encryption.
• Drop ALPHONE_WHATSAPP_CREDENTIALS_KEY, which AlphOne no longer reads.
• Without a mail relay, ALPHONE_PUBLIC_URL now starts copied invitation links, so check it, see Core.
• Run alphone check with the new image first to catch a bad setting.

For developers

• Plugins gain per workspace files, settings with secrets and batch contact matching, and can name the top role.
• The frontend SDK renames NavItem to MenuItem and SidebarNavigationScreen to NavigationScreen, and drops useCanvas and useFrameLocation, see Sidebar rows and sub menus.
• A plugin no longer edits frontend/package.json or codegen.ts, see Your plugin's frontend.
• Frontend plugins build on GodMin 0.27.0 and react-auth 0.15.0, which renames usersNavItem to usersMenuItem.
