ctx v5.30.1
v5.30.1 — foreign-load detector probes on its own cadence (W06-8b)
Patch on v5.30.0. The foreign-load detector (W06-8) only started probe
rounds while /api/status was polled or the dashboard's event stream was
open; headless there were no rounds, no WARN and practically never an
hourly comparison. It now runs its own ticker, bound to the server
lifecycle: one round per status.foreign_load_interval (new hot,
global-only setting, default 5 s) plus one right at each UTC hour
boundary. A status read never starts a round; a round in flight at
shutdown is cancelled and leaves no reading.
- status.foreign_load_interval: >= 1 s; interval + status.foreign_load_timeout
must stay below 1 hour (V37), otherwise no hour would ever be compared.
Grace of the hourly check is now interval + timeout. - docker-compose.yml declares CTX_STATUS_FOREIGN_LOAD_INTERVAL.
- Operators: a probed origin now sees 60/interval GETs per minute on
/metrics (12/min at the default) whether or not anyone reads the status.
No migration. PR #81, wave report W06-8b.
