First tagged pre-release of Grasshopper — the open-source mentoring platform.

Status: Beta — feature-complete, hardening.

Highlights

  • Core platform: mentor profiles + discovery, 1:1 session booking with shared notes, and opt-in goal tracking.
  • Passwordless auth: GitHub, Google, or passkeys (ADR-0002).
  • Security baseline: least-privilege CI, SHA-pinned actions + digest-pinned Docker, Dependabot, CodeQL SAST, patched transitive advisories (ADR-0010).
  • Quality gate: Node built-in test suite with an enforced coverage gate (95/90/95) over src/lib pure logic (RFC-0009, ADR-0011).
  • Open product: public roadmap, RFC/ADR pipelines, governance, and a contributor on-ramp.
  • Recognition: OpenSSF Scorecard published + OpenSSF Best Practices (passing) badge.
