AMC Activities Database Shortcode v1.0.1

Release Date: March 21, 2020

First production release of this plugin. Supports insertion of an event agenda list into any page or post that supports shortcodes.

Known Issues

  • Events are retrieved and added to the page by the WordPress server when the page is first loaded. Page caching prevents new events from being added to the page until the page is updated or the cached page expires. Release 2.0 will introduce event rendering via AJAX query from the browser which will ensure that the latest events are retrieved in realtime every time the page is loaded.
  • The option display=long is not supported in this release. All events will be displayed in short form regardless of the option settings.
  • Limited error handling. Errors from the query response are simply parsed as "No events found". Contact the plugin author if the plugin fails to retrieve events.
