Test build of Nemesis Delta.

Changes since 0.2.0

  • New Show choice, Sailing, for busy harbours. Nemesis and configured boats are always shown. Other boats are shown when in range, moving at 0.5 kn or more, and not of a known non sailing AIS ship type. Only type 36 (Sailing) is kept, so Pleasure (37) is hidden. A boat that has not sent its ship type yet is shown.
  • The plugin reads each boat's AIS ship type (design.aisShipType) and keeps it across restarts.
  • Fix: after old track history was compacted, a boat's name could be missing after a restart until AIS sent it again.

Install / update: copy signalk-nemesis-0.2.1.tgz into the Signal K config folder (the one with settings.json and plugin-config-data), then in that folder run

npm install signalk-nemesis-0.2.1.tgz

Restart the server. On a new install, enable Nemesis Delta under Server > Plugin Config. Full steps and caveats: README, Installing on a boat.

Needs Node 22 or newer. Tested with signalk-server 2.30.0 on Linux; not yet on Windows.

Second test build of Nemesis Delta.

Changes since 0.1.0

  • Up = Course: the configured waypointNames form a course. Each boat heads for the closest mark it has positive VMG to (else the closest). DTF is to that mark plus the remaining legs; Lead and TCF use DTF. Marks and the course line are drawn on the Geo tab. Picks are per report and may flip, e.g. when a boat drifts backwards.
  • The old Course up is now COG. North up is kept. Each named waypoint can still be picked by hand as WPT .
  • Boats tab: with Up = Course, each boat's next mark appears under its SOG/COG.
  • VMC to the waypoint works from a single report (SOG and COG) when there is no earlier one.

Install / update: copy signalk-nemesis-0.2.0.tgz into the Signal K config folder (the one with settings.json and plugin-config-data), then in that folder run

npm install signalk-nemesis-0.2.0.tgz

Restart the server. On a new install, enable Nemesis Delta under Server > Plugin Config. Full steps and caveats: README, Installing on a boat.

Needs Node 22 or newer. Tested with signalk-server 2.30.0 on Linux; not yet on Windows.
