Development 1.3.0 Release

lightsim2grid 1.3.0.dev0 (pre-release)

Pre-release of 1.3.0, for testing. Install it with pip install --pre lightsim2grid or pip install lightsim2grid==1.3.0.dev0.

Breaking changes

• compute_pf / solve of the algorithms (e.g. NR_KLU().solve(...)) now accept keyword arguments, and their tolerance is named tol_pu. It is in per unit, unlike the tol of LSGrid.ac_pf, LightSimBackend and the batch algorithms, which is in MVA. Positional calls keep working.

Fixes

• ContingencyAnalysis with a remote voltage regulator: some contingencies were reported as not converged after one iteration (#240).
• ContinuationSweep: the correctors read tol in per unit instead of MVA, so they accepted points less converged than asked.
• The wheel and the sdist now include the licenses of the bundled SuiteSparse and Eigen code.
• Docs: they now say that tol is in MVA and that a solver plugin receives it in per unit.

New

• (C++ / plugins) The wheel includes the KLU headers, so building a solver plugin no longer needs a SuiteSparse checkout.
