v1.0.0

First release of Quick Switcher for Zotero 7–10: press Cmd+O from any tab to search your library and jump straight to a paper.

Highlights

  • Fuzzy search over titles, authors, year and venue, including acronyms ("aiayn" → Attention Is All You Need)
  • New: search by author surname. Exact surname matches rank above title words, first authors highest, and every author on large collaborations is searchable
  • Fast on big libraries: a few ms per keystroke at 100k papers, and the index builds without blocking the UI

Install

Download zotero-quick-switcher-1.0.0.xpi below, then in Zotero go to Tools → Plugins → gear icon → Install Plugin From File…, pick the file and restart Zotero.
