Unsubscribing from unnecessary emails

It's important to keep the project email boxes only receiving necessary email in order to:

  • make it easy for new PMs on the project to get up to speed quickly.
  • all emails that come to project accounts also are forwarded to an org wide email in case there are any urgent notifications. It's important to reduce the amount of mail that goes to that account, in order to help the admin team be as effective as possible.

Facebook

  • If it's a weekly update, keep it & create a filter so that it archives immediately and goes directly to that label. In the future, you might want to review those if the team ends up using Facebook for future project promotion.
  • If it's a recommendation of people you should follow, unsubscribe.

Instagram

  • If it's a recommendation of people you should follow, unsubscribe.

Twitter

  • If it's a recommendation of people you should follow, unsubscribe. This will slow down the notifications but not stop them completely.
  • Log into the twitter account for your project and then go to https://twitter.com/settings/email_notifications and choose the following settings
