Git tag: beta-2

This beta adapts Juxtopposed's VLC design for the native player. Work on the interface and settings workflow continues.
Changes since beta-1:
- New first-run setup and the Inter interface font.
- Video previews on the seekbar. Previews are on by default. To change this, go to Settings > Playback > Seeking > Show video previews on the seekbar.
- A small background preview cache. The player shows the nearest cached frame while it loads a closer frame.
- Subtitle cue times on the seekbar, with zoom and subtitle delay controls. This option is in the player's Playback settings panel.
- New main and context menus, recent files, and keyboard access to the context menu.
- Media library support in the Windows build. The Home sidebar has video and music history, visited folders and playlists, and played artists.
- Improved folder navigation, library actions, and dragging media to the queue.
- Fixes for queue startup, seeking past the end, and stopping playback. A seek drag holds the final frame until you release it.
- Fixes for startup when the compiled QML cache cannot be used.
- Fixes for adding Windows UNC network folders, creating empty playlists, and fullscreen toolbar flicker at the timeline.
Use:
- Extract the complete ZIP to a Windows folder.
- Open
vlc-win64/vlc.exe. - Keep the DLLs and plugin folders with the executable.
- The empty portable folder stores this copy's settings beside the app.
- Close earlier VLC windows before you start this build.
- To use existing portable settings, copy your previous portable folder into the new vlc-win64 folder while VLC is closed.
Current limits:
- The redesign is in progress.
- This beta is unsigned and Windows may warn you when you open it.
- HDR and maximum resolution settings apply to the next video.
- Some advanced flows still use the existing VLC interface.
- Previews for large videos or network files can take time, and decoding can still fail.
- The media library database must be on a local drive; the media folders can be on a network share.
