Install

This build is for Apple silicon Macs (M1 or later) on macOS 11 or later.

  1. Download Stand-0.1.5-macos-arm64.zip.
  2. Unzip it and move Stand into Applications.
  3. Open Stand. macOS will say Apple could not verify it is free of malware. Click Done.
  4. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, and click Open Anyway. Confirm with your password or Touch ID.
  5. Open Stand again. It lives in the menu bar. Closing the settings window leaves it running. Quit is in the menu bar.

If Open Anyway is not there, run this in Terminal, then open Stand:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Stand.app

What changed

  • Each break picks one of four covers and keeps it until the break ends: meadow, sun, sky, or lamp, each with its own line. The cover still fades in.
  • A call or a fullscreen window pauses the work clock. The time left is still there when you come back. An active break is not paused.
