Install

This build is for Apple silicon Macs (M1 or later) on macOS 11 or later.

  1. Download Stand-0.1.6-macos-arm64.zip.
  2. Unzip it and move Stand into Applications.
  3. Open Stand. macOS will say Apple could not verify it is free of malware. Click Done.
  4. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, and click Open Anyway. Confirm with your password or Touch ID.
  5. Open Stand again. It lives in the menu bar. Closing the settings window leaves it running. Quit is in the menu bar.

If Open Anyway is not there, run this in Terminal, then open Stand:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Stand.app

What changed

  • The menu-bar countdown no longer freezes when a window is merely larger than another display. The work clock pauses only when a window covers the display it is actually on, or during a call.
