The first code-signed release: HankiTools.exe is signed through Microsoft Artifact Signing (publisher Iikka Amos Isosaari) with a trusted timestamp. Check the signature in the file Properties under Digital Signatures. This release also carries everything planned for 0.19.0 (below), which was never published on its own.
Hanki Tools has a new interface. Every page is rebuilt, nothing about what Hanki checks or changes is different: the same engine, the same review before every change, the same Recovery.
- A new window. Dark, with a rail on the left (Home, Fix my PC, Tune my PC, History, Help), a header with Find a tool (Ctrl+K), and a footer that shows what is running with one Cancel tasks button. Closing the window waits for running work.
- Review drawer. Every change, uninstall, delete and repair is reviewed in a drawer beside the page instead of a pop-up. Optional changes start unticked. Nothing runs until you confirm.
- Every page is new. Home, Fix my PC (scan results are a short list: what needs attention first, then incomplete checks and the checks that need no action, each expandable), Recovery, Maintain (files, apps, startup, duplicates, usage review, startup folders), Shield, Tune my PC, Performance Lab with charts, GPU, CPU, memory, storage, Gaming (games, NVIDIA, AMD Radeon, Tactical Vision), Connect, Diagnose, History, Help, Hanki Pro and the Assistant.
- Back follows where you have been, including tabs inside a page (Alt+Left too). Guided troubleshooting for the internet, the twelve interface languages and Tactical Vision from the 0.19 previews are all in the new window.
- Language. The language button at the bottom of the rail chooses one of twelve languages or follows Windows. It applies the next time Hanki opens. Detailed reports and some secondary text are still English.
- Setup installer. A Windows setup EXE (current user or all users) is built next to the portable ZIP. Both the setup program and the installed HankiTools.exe are code-signed.
- Licence. Hanki is now released under the PolyForm Noncommercial licence (see LICENSE).
- The old window is still available: start HankiTools.exe with
--legacy-shell. - Under the hood. The tested logic moved to a UI-free library (Hanki.Core) with 780+ automated checks; the new window is checked on a hidden desktop in all twelve languages so nothing appears on your screen.
Testing: the automated checks, a hidden-desktop UI check that opens every page, and the owner's own tests of high contrast, 150% and 200% scaling and the light theme. Not exercised on a real PC: applying a Tune plan, ReTrim, the processor change, uninstalling an app, Defender scan/update/cancel, changing DNS, the Connect network checks, measuring a game, Tactical Vision on an NVIDIA display, and the setup installer scopes. Report anything that looks wrong.

(Get-FileHash .\<file>).Hashwith the .sha256 value before running it. - The setup program and HankiTools.exe are code-signed; SmartScreen may still warn until the publisher has built reputation. HankiTools.exe must show Iikka Amos Isosaari with a valid timestamp under Properties > Digital Signatures.
The portable app needs no installer or .NET runtime. Setup offers current-user or all-users install, adds no service or auto-start entry, and keeps %LOCALAPPDATA%\IgezziGuard history and recovery data on uninstall.
The full Windows acceptance checklist, including the installer scopes, was not completed for this release.
