First public release of the TextoCAD engine.

Describe a part in plain English and get an editable, parametric CAD model. The AI writes a CadQuery or OpenSCAD script with named dimensions, so you can change any size and rebuild without another AI call.

Highlights

  • Four modes: printing (OpenSCAD + BOSL2), precision (CadQuery, real STEP), organic (SDF to mesh) and robotics (jointed assemblies with URDF)
  • Exports STEP, STL, 3MF, GLB, OBJ and URDF, for the whole model or per part
  • --details measures the result against your prompt and repairs it
  • Local web app: chat edits, dimension sliders, parts list, materials and lighting, robot joint motion, stop button, light/dark theme
  • Bring your own key: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Mistral, Groq, Together, Fireworks
  • One-command start on Windows (start.bat) and macOS/Linux (./start.sh)
