If you want to order the PCB as is, you need to order separately:
- 1 Ender3 Makerbot DesignEnd-Stop Component - like here
- 1 SEEEDSTUDIO XIAO ESP32S3
- 1 TMC2209 STEPPER DRIVER BOARD
- 1 IC MTRDRV BIPLR 4.5-36V 16PWRDIP (L293D)
- 1 single row female pin header
- 1 dual inline pin (DIP) 16 pin socket
- Go to https://jlcpcb.com/.
- Click on “Instant Quote”.

- Click on “Add Gerber FIle”.

- Go to “Downloads” (or wherever you moved the files you have downloaded from GitHub) → "CAD" -> “DropGenPCB” → “jlcpcb” → “production_files” → select the file that says “GERBER…..zip” and click “open”.

- Once the Gerber is uploaded, choose the quantity and color of your PCB (the other setting can remain the same).

- Scroll Down a bit and turn on “PCB Assembly”. Then Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Next”. You will be able to have a look at the Layout of your PCB and click “NEXT”.

- You will now come to this page, where you want to upload the BOM and CPL files. To do so, click on either “Upload [] File”, go to “DropGenPCB” → “jlcpcb” → “production_files” → and select the file that either says ”BOM….csv” or ”CPL….csv”, depending on what you are uploading and click “open”. Once both are uploaded, click “Process BOM & CPL”

- Once you are on the “Bill of Materials” page, you want to scroll down, until you see the Footprint that says “L293D” and deselect the blue checkbox next to it. We do not want to assemble the PCB with the H-Bridge, Stepper Driver, and Microcontroller, as those are the most sensitive parts, so we may want to be able to exchange them later on (only insert them through sockets)”. So, without those three parts selected, click “NEXT” on the bottom of the page.

- A Notification will pop up, saying that you have unselected parts. Click “Do not place”.

- Now, on the “Components Placement” page, make sure, all components are placed correctly and match the footprints. Often the barrel jack is rotated the wrong way. If so, or any other part is not placed correctly, click on that part, and rotate or move it to the desired location. Then, click “NEXT”.

- Lastly, select a product description, add it to the cart, and order!
- Once your PCB has arrived, solder the sockets by hand and place the remaining components in the sockets. You can open the file "DropGenPCB.kicad_sch" in "DropGenPCB" and use it as a guideline for how the components should be placed (e.g. to check the alignment).
