v1.2.1: DSH 0.2.1 compatibility
Compatibility release for DeepSeek Harness 0.2.1.
- Supports DSH >=0.2.1-rc.2 <0.2.2.
- Migrates subagent startup to startActivation().
- Applies tool restrictions through scoped child-agent tools.
- 56/56 tests pass and the packed plugin was activated in an isolated DSH 0.2.1-rc.2 Web profile.
v1.2.0: saved role models and reasoning
Saved model and reasoning choices are now available for the orchestrator, workers and final reviewer in Settings → Task Orchestrator.
- Choose each role's model from DSH's native provider catalog and select a reasoning level advertised by that model.
- Keep inheritance or use model defaults; explicit assignments clear inherited effort when no effort is selected.
- Apply parent choices through native Web selection or the headless selector, and capture child choices per invocation. Active requests retain their model.
- Preserve model choices when restoring two-worker queue defaults, retain drafts after discovery failure, and save edited fields atomically.
The TODO-first plan, separate worker/reviewer contexts, two-lane queue, partial results and final read-only review remain in place. Web parent selection also updates DSH's default model for future chats; later explicit chat selections remain available.
Validated with a fresh frozen-lockfile install, TypeScript checks, 54 tests, built Host/browser-module smokes and responsive browser checks. Runtime tests use the production DSH loop and spawn service with a scripted adapter; real GPU throughput and live multi-provider execution remain unmeasured.
See UPGRADE-1.2.md for saved fields, the volatile subagentModel type and installation/restart guidance. DSH 0.2.0-rc.2 is the verified API target.
DSH Task Orchestrator v1.1.1
The parent agent now saves and assigns a concrete TODO plan before starting workers. Version 1.1.1 combines the new execution path with expanded profile-backed Settings controls.
- Two independent initial tasks are required by default. Up to two workers run together, with immediate queue refill and separate child contexts.
- Dependency-aware scheduling, structured results, bounded requests and explicit missing-data continuation preserve completed evidence.
- Native TODO checkpoints retain assignments, child identities, attempts, reports and waiting reasons. Required final review must approve the work before completion.
- Read-only children receive a tool allow-list; output reserves become actual response limits. Parallel writes remain disabled by default.
- Settings now include planning mode, task and model concurrency, review, context budgets, context ranges and retry limits. Saves are atomic, preserve exact values and detect concurrent profile edits.
- README, usage and upgrade guides, verification report and runtime status messages are English.
Compatibility: DSH 0.2 API line, tested against 0.2.0-rc.2; Node.js 22.19 or later. Existing 1.0.x custom tool callers must provide an explicit plan and unique task owners. Read the upgrade guide before upgrading.
Install into a DSH profile:
dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/hasan-aghayev/dsh-task-orchestrator/releases/download/v1.1.1/dsh-task-orchestrator-1.1.1.tgzReplace web with your profile name and restart DSH after installing the package to load the new configuration fields.
Validation: frozen-lockfile installation from a fresh source copy, TypeScript check, 45 passing tests, package build, built Host/browser-loader checks and validation of the documented plan. Runtime tests use the real DSH loop and a scripted model adapter. Real local-model quality, sustained throughput and GPU memory behavior remain unmeasured for this release. See the verification report.
The attached SHA256SUMS file records the package checksum.
DSH Task Orchestrator v1.0.5
Patch release for bounded worker admission. Fixes task-budget calculation when a reserve value is absent and clamps preferred workers to the effective deployment ceiling. Includes the adaptive parent-only worker orchestration and RTX 3090 profile documentation.
DSH Task Orchestrator v1.0.4
Production release of the DSH Task Orchestrator bundle. Includes package-owned enable/disable control for the orchestration group and its model-facing subagent tools, with dependency-aware planning and final review.
