Backport
This PR is auto-generated from #12304 to be assessed for backporting due to the inclusion of the label backport/1.2.x.
WARNING automatic cherry-pick of commits failed. Commits will require human attention.
The below text is copied from the body of the original PR.
CreateNetwork
andDestroyNetwork
functions were incorrect inplugins/drivers/client.go
anddrivers/mock/driver.go
and therefore not fulfilling theDriverNetworkManager
interface.I've also added assertions to catch drifts at compilation time.
This was making it impossible to implement
CreateNetwork
andDestroyNetwork
in custom driver plugins. As far as I can tell this was broken by #11173.
