HKDEV Shop Elements v1.1.1

Summary

Faster mobile first paint and LCP. Homepage no longer downloads checkout/auth assets or two full hero images up front.

Features

  • Improved:
    • Hero slides use <picture> + srcset, preload the first slide, and fetch only the mobile file on phones
    • Product card images advertise sizes so phones request a smaller file
    • Shop, Swiper, footer, and catalog CSS no longer block first paint
    • Checkout CSS/JS load on the first Buy Now click, not on every shop page
    • Auth CSS/JS load when the login modal is opened
    • Carousel and hero dots have a larger tap target

Upgrade Notes

  • Manual action required: no
  • Update from 1.1.0 via WP Admin → Plugins → Update Now, or upload this zip
  • For the best LCP, set Hero Image Size to 1536x1536 (not Full) and keep banners as compressed WebP
