First release of Remote Tasks, a visual Linux task manager.

  • Overview: live CPU, memory, network and disk graphs, a per-core heat grid and a memory treemap
  • Processes: search, filters, sorting, per-process history; right-click to end, force kill, kill a tree, or suspend
  • Remotes: listening ports and live connections with an animated constellation graph
  • Logs: the system journal live, with search, level and source filters, and full-journal search

Install

chmod +x Remote-Tasks-0.1.0-x86_64.AppImage
./Remote-Tasks-0.1.0-x86_64.AppImage

If it won't start on Ubuntu 22.04 or newer, install FUSE: sudo apt install libfuse2.

Tested on Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS (x86_64, GNOME 42.9 on X11, kernel 7.1.1, systemd 249).
