The new built-in VPN is entirely his work. He wrote the WireGuard and OpenVPN support and contributed it to this project as a pull request. It protects your playback right inside the app, with no separate VPN app needed. He's also the person whose phone port this app was built on. Thank you, ghbarker! 💜

What's new

Built-in VPN

• Protect your playback with a VPN inside the app. Import a WireGuard or OpenVPN profile from your provider in Settings → VPN
• Choose how much it protects: Off, HTTP streams only, HTTP + HTTPS streams, or the Full app
• One choice for every Nuvio profile, or a separate one for just the profile you're on
• Your VPN profiles come with your setup when you sync to another device, and are encrypted on the device
• When a VPN can't connect or an import fails, the app says exactly why

Calendar

• A new Calendar with the shows, movies and games you care about, in List, Week and Month views
• Airing today, Recently aired and Following, with a sheet to follow or hide shows
• New-episode and Upcoming cards on Home for the shows you follow
• Watch live, Record, Remind and Choose channel for episodes found in your guide, and for your teams' games
• On my TV and Sports filters
• Ring the bell on a show's page or in Live TV to follow it. Pick a channel once with Always use and it's remembered
• Your followed and hidden shows are part of your synced setup, so they match your TV

Sports

• League Networks: each league's own channel in one place (NFL Network, NBA TV, Golf Channel and more), with the option to pick one by hand
• Game Alerts: a screen to choose your alerts. The app offers alerts when you first follow a team, shows the live score while your team plays, and alerts you when a game starts, even with the app closed
• Games, replays and highlights from your sports addons (HighFly, StremVerse and more) show up automatically
• Your country's TV channels on every game, with national channels first
• Choose leagues row on All Events to turn leagues on and off

Live TV

• Pick favorites: a star on each group opens a list where you can star many channels at once, with Select all, Clear and one Save
• Change logo on a channel's long-press menu: pick from your playlists and guides, tv-logos, iptv-org or TMDB, or paste a link
• Search now finds Live TV channels and guide matches, and On Demand movies and series
• Catch-up remembers which kind of replay link your provider answers and tries it first

On Demand

• Choose where On Demand goes in a title's source list, and whether auto-play may pick it

Xtream and Setup Sync

• Xtream logins have switches for TV channels and movies & series, like the TV app
• The account sync card is now Setup Sync, and you can choose what to sync

From Nuvio Mobile 0.6.8-beta

• Mark as watched is in the Continue Watching menu
• Audio downmix option
• Add-on ASS/SSA subtitles can be auto-synced, with SRT/VTT used when nothing else fits

Fixed

• Big providers load more reliably: playlist redirects are followed, and large On Demand and channel lists are read a piece at a time
• Long choice lists in Live TV settings scroll and open at your current choice
• Adult On Demand titles no longer appear in Continue watching
• A playback that stalls resumes where it stopped
• The player no longer loops when it switches engines on its own
• Add-on ASS/SSA subtitles draw correctly

Nuvio + IPTV Mobile 0.6.6-beta-iptv.1

The first release of Nuvio + IPTV on Android phones and tablets: everything in Nuvio Mobile, plus Live TV, Sports, catch-up, recordings and On Demand.

What's in it

One setup, every screen

• Nuvio Account Sync: sign in to Nuvio and your playlists, guides, favorites and settings come over from your TV by themselves, and stay in sync
• Your saved setup is encrypted

Live TV

• Groups as cards with their channel logos; tap one to open it
• A guide with what's on now highlighted, a progress bar and a "now" line you can turn off
• A playlist menu in the groups, the guide and On Demand when you have more than one playlist
• Channel Display: show logos, names, numbers, or any mix
• Channel panel in the player: switch channels and see a mini guide without leaving the video
• Swipe up or down on the picture to change channel
• Catch-up, reminders, recordings and parental PIN locks

Sports

• Scores, schedules and tables for 200+ leagues, in your teams' colours
• Every one of your channels showing a game, best match first
• Reminders, scoring alerts and recording games

On Demand

• Movies and series from your Xtream provider
• Your provider's copies show up in a title's source list, best quality first

Installing

Download the arm64-v8a APK (almost every phone), or armeabi-v7a for older phones. It installs alongside the official Nuvio app, and updates come inside the app.
