v1.3.3
Hostney Cache 1.3.3
- New: the page cache is cleared after WordPress, a plugin, a theme or a translation is updated, the theme is switched, a plugin is switched on or off, or the Customizer is saved. Pages cached before such a change could point to stylesheets and scripts the change replaced, and look broken until they expired
- New: "Pre-fetch after updates", on by default. After an update or a theme switch every page is pre-fetched again, a minute after the last update made in WordPress. Hostney's own update runs ask for it themselves
- New: WP-CLI commands
wp hostney-cache flush-siteandwp hostney-cache warm - Fix: a cache purge started from WP-CLI never reached the cache. It was sent over http, which a Hostney site redirects to https, and the redirect led away from the server. Purges from WP-CLI now go over https and never follow a redirect
- A pre-fetch on a site without page caching now stops after a few pages and says so, instead of requesting every page first
Requirements
- WordPress 5.0+ (tested up to 6.9)
- PHP 7.4+
- Hosting on Hostney: the page cache it purges and the Redis or Memcached it
connects to are Hostney's
